The city of Madrid is served by an international airport and two large train stations (Atocha and Chamartin).

The public transit system is comprised of a large scale metro system with 15 lines, a bus system, a suburban train system (Cercanías) and a light rail system (Metro Ligero).

Hop-on hop-off bus service is also available.
