The Debod Temple (Templo de Debod) is a second century Egyptian temple
that was relocated to Madrid Spain. Located on a hilltop in Parque del
Oeste, the temple was a gift to Spain from Egypt. The temple was previously
located in an area of Egypt that was flooded by the Aswan Dam.
Visitors to the Debod Temple can enjoy a great view of Madrid from this
location in the Royal Palace
district of Madrid.
